Howdy folks.
I know its been a while since a wrote a blog.  So I figured its high time to write one.
Melissa and I are watching AVP-R right now, we watched Aliens and then AVP yesterday. Im trying to get her caught up on the good horror movies of the time.
Lets get you caught up on me....
MY CAR:
I had to get my front breaks fully replace as well as break lines and fluid since the found copper in my break lines. rotors and pads, the whole works, but she stops before a dime now.
Plus I had to buy two new front tires because my tires were worn down worse than racing slicks. they stick to the road like freaking tar its great having tread on your tires.
And not to mention its snowing in the middle of april here in minne-snow-ta
oh well its all good im kept warm by the love of my life Melissa.
We have had our trials and hard times and fought hard to work things out and are a much better couple because of it.
But this had just been a small update on myself and my life as it is now I will write more soon

Update

Well a lot of changes have gone on, if you watch my vlogs on youtube (DoubleJVlogs) you no doubt have seen many of them.
First off  I no longer have the van :( it finally broke its last leg, so I had it towed away, it was a sad day.
I met a wonderful woman, Melissa. and her and I have moved into an apartment, which so happens to be 5 mins away from where I work. Its also only about 15 mins away from her work so it works out both ways.....lol see that it 'works' out lmao.
We have just been playing the getting used to our bills game the last few months but now we have it down. Unfortunately I had to spend almost $800 on my cars brakes, which were shot to hell. Now, though, most of my car is rebuilt, I had the engine practically rebuild.
The head was cracked so Sam and I towed it several hours to his brothers house. His brother being one of the top 100 mechanics in the U.S. said he would fix it for me cheaper than a shop would, so after $1250 its was fixed, rebuilt head, new heavy duty head gasket, thermostat, coil packs,, plugs, wires, the whole nine yards. and Now the brakes are rebuilt so its dang near new.
Other than that I am trying to start up my vlogs again and get back n the habbit of grabbing the flip.
As for the job I am no longer and adjuster, I switched back to my old position as operator, and I'm much happier.
Well thats it for now, stay tuned.

Its Alive, Its ALIVE!!!

Well in my last post about my car problems I said the engine was seized up, well I only removed the front 3 plugs, it was one of the back 3 that was vapor locked, so I took it out, cranked it and it turned over.

I put the plugs back in and cranked it and it started! After several months of sitting with a bad head gasket it fired right up. I knew it wouldn't let me down, that's why I kept trying to get it going.
I also put a new battery in it since it sat so long the old one was drained, it would have worked if it got charged back up but it was already 5 years old, i figured it was time for a new one.

This last Thursday, Sam and I towed my grand am down to Jackson, Mn on a tow dolly. the trip wend smooth and now my car is getting fixed. I cant wait to get my baby back, its been too long since I've been able to drive it.

And on a side note, the Bonneville is running great. So that when I get my Grand Am back I know that my mom will have a reliable car to drive and I wont have to worry about it not starting.

Fridgid Tubing = Awesome Sauce!

Well this last weekend I went camping with my cousin and her boyfriend at apple river in wisconsin.
It was a stressful drive there since my van hates hills and is running on limited brake pads, but we got there in one piece and found that in order to put the camper on our site I would have to back it up through a tight squeeze of a tree cluster.
Which was fine by me since I pride myself in backing-up skills. To add to the demand to get it right the first time, the campers next to us (who left before i took this pic) were all watching me to see if I would make it.
I threaded that needle in one shot and as a bonus I had my cousin record it on my flip cam so I have recorded proof that I did it.

It was not the warmest of weekends, Saturday was alright and we went tubing down the river since it was supposed to be colder and windier sunday.

So we got the tubes and went in, it was quite chilly, but a few beers and some laughing made it not so horrible. it was actually quite fun, and I dont think that I stopped laughing the whole time it was a blast.

Then sat night got down to 40F and since we were at a non-electric site and my campers battery is toast we had no heat and almost froze my balls off but we survived.

Sunday was the definition of miserable, cold and windy, so we decided not to extend out trip one more day and go home.

But all in all it was an awesome and very fun trip.

Pontiac Problems, But I Still Love Them

Well I finally fixed one of the latest issues with the Bonneville, I replaced the fuel pressure regulator. It was a heck of a lot simpler than I thought it would be. It would have been even simpler if I hadn't broken the rubber hose that connects the vacuum line to the FPR. So I went back to Autozone and the dude gave me what I needed for free, since it was a 1" lil bit of hose. Now it starts without having to give it gas and it does not die when you take you foot off the gas.

Now I need to replace the oil pump, preferable before winter, and the shocks and struts. The big thing that needs to be taken care of eventually is the transmission, it is slowly going out.

Now on to my car's woes, The engine is pretty much done for :( The head gasket went out and it sat for a lil bit and the engine seized up. I took out the plugs and tried cranking it over to see if it wasnt vapor locked but nothing budged. That means I need to get a new engine in it. This engine only has 107,000 some miles on it. Its just a pup, its sad.

Oh well Ive atleast almost got the bonne done thats good

Well now I am off to be yall. Good Night

Double Duty

Well the last two nights I have worked we have been short a key person in our factory. The guy that hangs the rolls of paper on our running machines' splicer. so us adjuster ( who take care of everything else on the machine) had to do that as well. Since I am the tranee I did most of the roll hanging on the 3 high speed machines that I am training on, It wasnt too bad, it did make the night go by awfully fast. However I would not want to do that everynight, My muscles are sore from moving those 800lbs rolls around all 12 hours on 3 machines. Not to mention hanging the rolls of window film and cleaning the print and checking the ink and giving breaks. I may be sore but my nights were quick.

Oh well, I hope people saw that I took the initiative to do more than I needed too, since I am an Adjuster Trainee that would be helpful in proving Im  not just some greenhorn.

Well I am gonna go have some beers, watch tv and go to bed and do it all over again tonight
PEACE

Movie Ponders 3

Again I am knit picking a movie again, just something little I noticed while watching The new Planet Of The Apes. When the little chimp takes off in the pod, he pulls the throttle stick down and the ship takes off. When the guy flies one he moves the throttle stick forward instead and the ship takes off.

Also What did they end up doing with cesar after he got trapped in the cockpit of the wrecked ship?
